    lead harness?

Hey all, A few questions for you. When casting boolits they will drop from mold a certain hardness. Then age hardens them. And as they age they will get harder up to a certain point. You can also water drop and get them harder also. I have read that after water dropping and some time they will get alittle softer. My question is after a long while will these water dropped boolits soften back down to the same hardness as the air cooled boolits.

Alloy composition plays a big role in BHN, but suffice it to say water quenched will always be harder than air cooled boolits.

at some point they [the water quenched ones] will come back to the original alloys hardness.
it'll be in 25-35 or so years, but yeah they will come back.
