Looks like my copper tubing dies and draw die shipped out today. Thanks Brian! It's been a long wait. Now if those other two well known die makers in Oregon would ship soon it would make my day. You learn patience when you take up bullet swaging.

Your welcome Bob and thank you for your patience. Your dies turned out very well, should be there Thursday, small USPS flat rate box. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Good shooting and swage on!

    Brian

p.s. I tried to track down one of my custom 50 BMG bullets to include in the box for you to look at but I don't have any made, zero! Keep posted though, I got a hydraulic swage press on order!

Friday was a full day at work so no joy Friday. But by the end of Saturday I had completed 10 jacketed bullets. Thanks to Brian it was easy, tomorrow I'll tweak a few things, trim brass shorter for one and try the notch die for another. By tomorrow afternoon I'll have a couple hunnert jacketed bullets, if not loaded up and ready to shoot at least ready to load up. Shucks I may even send some down rnge by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks again Brian it was a long wait and a pretty good chunk of money but in my opinion well worth the wait and well worth the money. Expect to hear from me again. Dennis Eugene
Your very welcome Dennis, I know it took a long time. Even more thanks goes out to you and my customers for allowing me the time I needed to complete everyone's orders. Let me know if you ever have any questions.

Brian: Very interested to hear you are getting a hydraulic press. Maybe after you get it up and running you will consider making "H" or Walnut Hill type dies. Lead wire extrusion is much easier than putzing around with casting cores. The extrusion die is very easy to make if your lathe is large enough to bore and thread the 1½ inch materiel. I can give you pics and dimensions of Richard Corbin's design. A lead wire cutter is also a simple thing to design and sell. 50 BMG bullets are a piece of cake with hydraulics. I sure beats the double handle option on the Walnut Hill. My "H" dies produce a 12S ojive bullet, either open tip or lead tip, and either flat base or rebated boat tail using commercial jackets or copper tubing jackets. Any help I can give, just ask.

I really don't want to compete against Richard with the exact same dies he is already offering for his press. He is nice enough to continue to offer me the great 50 cal jackets I need to make these bullets with, I certainly don't want to piss him off by someone posting pics and dimensions of his exact products. I am really just looking to aid and increase my personal production of 50bmg bullets with his Hydraulic press.

I would love to see some pics of the 50 cal bullets you are making! At them moment the match 50 cal bullets I am making and shooting has a 10s ogive.

ID:	128753 Here is an old pic I posted of a few 750gr lead tip flat base bullets. They are the first I made with the HydraSwage. When I get some open tips and some RBTs made I can post them for you. Something has changed with my computer and I am having great difficulty getting pictures from my camera into the "My Pictures" file. That is the only place I know how to upload them from. Sooner or later by trial and error I'll figure it out.

It's going to have to get a lot warmer around here before I get out to shoot. I've got a 6.5 Grendel, 280 AI, & a 25 inch 500 S&W that I havn't even shot yet. Made some beautiful 130gr open tip RBT bullets for the 280 AI. I've got a lot of shooting to do. I have a bunch of cast bullet loads for the BMG to test along with the swaged BMG bullets. I'll be making some copper tubing jackets for the BMG and 308 to test also. The 308 tubing jacket maker and draw dies arrived today. Great looking stuff. Please keep packing your dies in those CH/4D boxes. It adds a nice finishing touch. I already had an old red CH box ready for the dies but didn't need to use it. Your instructions were clear and complete & the inclusion of samples of each stage is very helpful.

    Thanks Bob,

Yes I have always packed my dies in protective black plastic boxes and will continue to do so. The instructions are slowly getting better and I try to always add step by step samples to help the customers along. Do let me know if you have any questions.

oh..... one thing I think I did forget was the diagram print out for you to write down the measurements on, if you send me your address I can email you one to print out (I think )

I have had inquires from some of my fellow FCSAS shooters in obtaining some cast boolits for fire forming needs in the BMG. Let me know if you would like me to mention your name the next time it comes up.

    Good shooting and swage on!

Just finished up another order, a 30 cal with copper tubing die and set of 5 draw dies. I'll post some pics of these beauties soon. I've been working on this order alone now for .......... well, I think it was 5 straight days putting these together (today was a 15 hour day!), AND THE DIES WHERE ALLREADY MACHINED AND NITRIDED! This was just 5 days of final assembly, polishing and machining all the internal parts and base punches as well as setting the dies up with all the step by step examples to send to the customer.

    Now off to bed!

On to the next order on the list!

Here is 5 days worth of work on the latest customer's order. A 30 cal die set with copper tubing jacket die and five die draw die set.

    The draw dies

    9mm down to 30 cal

30 cal core swage die with lead core draw die to bring the core down in size for the thicker copper jacket

copper tubing die, core swage die, core seat die, point form die all 30 cal with bullet samples from RCE jacket, copper tubing and 5.7x28 jackets

A look at turning 5/16" copper tubing into a 30 cal bullet

Oh yeah! I have already been working on your dies! Should be in the mail by end of week. I received your final payment, thank you. Your reducing dies look exactly like those above. So does the rest of the dies too of course except for the pics of the bullets, they will have awesome boat tails on them!

    Thanks

Thanks for the call today Brian, if you took any pictures I would have no objection to everyone seeing them here.
It might be Thursday before the post office gets done leaving "sorry we missed you" notes in my mail box which is 1/2 mile away from the house.

Then I can go to the PO and claim my prize!

Lots lf progress made in the last few weeks. Check my list for all the details. Things are looking a lot better and in control now, boy-o-boy! remember what the list used to look like, say in the beginning of last year? I think I hade well over 100 backorders on that list! Now I'm down to less then a dozen or so!

Thank you all for your patience and support.

    Good shooting and swage on!

Making great progress! Made some slight adjustments to the estimated shipping dates posted on the list, only adjusted a few days in most cases, a few got set back a couple days, a few got moved a head a few days. Ether way all the estimated orders with a date before end of March should be fulfilled by third week in March.

Thank you for your support and patience.
