Spent the last few days making 22 cal base punches

Threaded- 23 point form and 9 each of the core seat, derim and core swage base punches.

Shell holder style- 11 point form, 11 core seat, 14 derim, 5 core swage.

Looks like I might have to make a few more core swage shell holder style base punches but this should be very close to filling all the 22 cal dies on order.

The mailman rang the bell today. What a nice surprise! The dies look really nice and I've all weekend to play with them.

I have to say, your packaging is as well done as your machine work. Everything was well and precisely wrapped and even though it was heavy, the box arrived in perfect condition.

Looks like I do have a few 45 cal sets at the top of my list. I will probably put 5-10 sets together in one batch as soon as I start work on them.

This month has been slow for me as far as progress and I have some family obligations to take care of this first week of August, afterwards I expect to get right back to it and get these orders out the door.

How about .22 point forming dies and 40 dies?

They are all on the list in order of priority and I'll get to them all as soon as I can. I have one last family obligation to attend to and will be hitting work hard come the second week in August. Give me just a little while after that and you will see a good number of orders shipping. The dies are coming together very well just hang in there for me guys.

I paid my deposit 13 months ago today. No change from last month, I still have 47 die sets & tools in front of my order.

Thank you for your patience. Yes that last half of July has been a little slower for me yet I completed 18 shipments last month. You only have 3 customers with 500 cal die sets ahead of you. I expect to put theirs and yours together at the same time and expect to have them ready and shipped in the next 4-8 weeks.

Thank you again for your patience. I realize everyone has been waiting a long time and I am grateful everyone has allowed me the time I need to make sure these dies are absolutely perfect for all of you. I guarantee it will be worth all of your wait times.

Also notice how I have slowed down taking additional orders this year. Last year I had 100 orders by this time, this year less then 30. I am taking necessary steps to catching up on my back orders and decreasing wait times for future orders.

Hang in there guys, I'll get caught up soon. Things are a bit slower for me during the summer months (July and August here in the North West). Even with AC in the shop it gets above 80 and my mood and productivity slows down. My girls are also out of school for the summer which takes quite a bit of time away from the schedule too. Forth of July is a week that I spend with my family and the first week of August is the wife's birthday that I spend with family. I still get a bit done during this time but things should really pick up come the later half of this month.

To give you all an idea of my progress over the last couple years, I had 107 orders in 2012, 121 orders in 2013 and 27 orders so far this year.

That is 251 orders in the last 2.5 years of these hectic times in the guns and ammo business. Of those 251 orders I am down to 43 orders left to fill, many of which are simply waiting on their final point form die. All dies on order are here in stock ready to be assembled, polished and shipped out. It is simply a matter of time and I'll get them all out the door.

I would say these numbers here represent a firm dedication to providing you all with a top quality product and my determination to complete all orders I currently have in the books as well as future orders.

Everyone has had to wait a lot longer then expected. Totally my fault but I'll be catching up soon and trying my best in the future to be more careful in my estimated predictions.

Took apart the lathe this weekend, it was in need of a good cleaning and check up so I went a bit further and fixed a couple minor issues with the lathe while I was at it. Got it all back together and will be rechecking and reseting all the "zeros" to unsure everything is dead on! Got a lot of work to do on customer's orders, ensuring the lathe is in top notch shape will certainly help to insure all the parts turn out as good as possible. Also helps my mood when the lathe is working as it should and is all cleaned up. Got to give the old machines a bit of love every once in a while.

Also got the family obligations out of the way so I am full speed ahead back to work to finish everyone's orders.
