My Work Order List

Good day in shop today.

I have been getting Tuesdays off from work at my second job so we can all expect to see progress made on orders and correspondence these days. Also second job work is getting easier leaving me with a little time in evening to work on orders.

I'll keep you all posted and as of right now progress is being made and I thank you all for your patience.

Another good day in shop. I was able to get off work at my second job by 1pm so I had the rest of the evening to put dies together. Hopefully there will be a lot more days like today in my mail delivery future. Feels like I have finally got things figured out at the new job and the three month probationary period is coming to an end so things should get better.

Progress is being made again in the shop. Thank you for your patience in allowing me the time I needed to get my life back in order.

oh... on a positive side note, I have lost 60lbs in the last 6 months! That is one good thing about the job I guess.

I am making progress on my time in the shop. Each week I get a full day and there are a few evenings during the week I get a few hours.

I expect to take a big chuck out of this work order list very soon.

Made some great progress in the shop over the last couple days.

I feel like I'm starting to get a grasp on these remaining orders as well as life returning a bit back to normal.

I haven't forgotten about any of you on my list and I'm working towards filling all your orders with top quality products.

This is what you all are waiting for! The ability to make perfect bullets with the tooling and dies you have ordered. This is how I thank my customers for your patience, I provide you with tooling and dies that does what I say it will and does it to the best of my abilities. It takes me a long time and there always seems to be delays but I stand by my word when say it will be worth the wait. I'll let you all judge for yourself with the perfect 150 grain 30 cal bullet made from scrap 9mm brass pictured below.



Progress is slow but moving forward and results are looking great.

p.s. made this bullet on my improved Lee Classic Cast press including drawing down the 9mm brass, it is not fast, but it is perfect.

Do you all know what an awesome hunting bullet that would make! Tapered jacket walls for controlled expansion and a solid brass base for high weight retention and deep penetration! Think Speer deep curl/grand slam bullets!

Here is a pic I took a long time ago of sectioned 30 cal bullets. Left is 5.7 jacket and the other two are 9mm jackets. The bullets are not perfect in this pic (nearly 15 years ago, my abilities have come a long ways since then) but what I want to show is the tapered jacket walls and thick solid base!





and here is recovered 5.7 on left and 9mm on right, I don't remember all the details but bullets where probably shot from my 300 WM!



Looking closer.... might be a 5.7, 223rem and 9mm for jackets? No matter, the fact is scrap brass makes some impressive bullet jackets!
