Yes it is.... Catching up!

"On schedule" is kind of ....... well you really can't say your on schedule when you where already months behind your original plans but it does look very good to get all these 22 cal die orders out before the holidays. With luck I'll get a lot more of the other calibers on order out as well.

Only 14 more 22 cal orders to go! Should be able to get all these done by Thanksgiving.

Many of you are getting your point form dies to complete your orders. Do be sure to review instructions regarding the use of this die in the instruction manual I already sent you before your first use of the point form die. Biggest thing to remember....

1. always use auto eject system to eject bullets from point form die. NEVER USE A MALLET!

2. always ensure only clean jackets enter the point form die, clean from ALL scale left over from anneal process

3. a warm die will always work better then a cold one

4. always use a quality swage lube with every bullet formed

Review the rest of the instructions before first use of your new point form die!

Took a break this week from polishing 22 cal point form dies. I need a change every once in a while to break up the monotony, allows me to stay fresh and excited with best chance for perfect results that way.

Cleaned up the shop over the weekend and spent this week putting dies together to ship off to Nitride. I got 30 of the universal dies and 20 of the BTX dies heading out, also got some various 243 dies that I reamed up from oversized 22 cal point form dies, also got the remaining four 45 cal point form dies on order machined and ready for nitride.

lets see.... what else.... got several of the rams necessary for the pneumatic press kit I have been talking about. Also got several new rams and tops for the Lee Classic cast.....

Think I'll send in a pistol and rifle barrel too just to see how it turns out.

I plan to machine all the necessary draw and sizing dies on order too and have them out in this batch.

I'm busy working on it! I still intend to keep to my proposed 22 cal point form die shipping schedule too and have them out before the holidays.

Finished up 135 various dies and parts today to send off to Nitride. Put together 4 complete sets of draw dies as well as many 30 cal draw dies to reduce copper tubing or 5.7x28 down for jackets.

I expect to ship these dies off to Nitride by end of this week. I'll now be returning to work on the 22 cal point form dies till I have completed all on my list.

Shipped all the various parts and dies to be nitride Monday. Expect them back middle of Dec.

Spent last two days working on 22 cal boat tail tools and dies for latest customer on the list. Got it all done and boxed up ready to ship Wednesday. BOY-O-BOY did the boat tail bullet kit turn out well! I'll have to take some pics soon but I am certain the customer is going to be impressed. I was matching the Sierra 69 grain match king with some pretty incredible results. Took a little extra time to get everything perfect for this set. I think this might be the first customer to receive a set of boat tail dies.... wait... nope got a 338 set out there so this might be the second customer, could very well be the first 22 cal set of boat tail dies.

As soon as I catch up a bit more on my list I'll put a few more of these boat tail upgrade kits together and offer to customers that already have my standard die sets.

Keep posted for shipping details. I'll get as many as I can out the door by Monday. I'll be out of office the week of Thanksgiving so I'll be getting as many 22 cal orders together by the time I leave.

As always thanks for your patience and support. All you new 22 cal swagers..... perfect your skills and load development, I'll see if I can put together another postal shoot, maybe start it a little later this year in hopes of some better weather, maybe start around March 1st or so.

ALL 22 CAL ORDERS SHIPPED AND COMPLETED (or awaiting payment) THAT I SAID WOULD BE DONE BY THE END OF THE HOLIDAYS!

Boy does that feel good! All you new 22 cal swagers get your bullets together and loads figured out. I'll have the 3rd annual BTSNIPER postal shooting coming up soon, probably start it around March 1st.

I have 25 total orders now on my list, I'll be working on the 30 cals and various other dies on the list now. Got a 6mm in there too high on the list. Basically starting from the top down in priority. Got a few draw dies sets in there as well as some 45 cals too. Got those dies coming back soon from Nitride. I'm making great progress and that list is the smallest it probably ever has been. I'm going to keep at it till it is as small as possible with the intention of having inventory in stock and ready to ship in 2015!

p.s. WOW! I really did it..... I had to go back and look at the list, no 22 cal customers waiting on their dies other then the last two orders I recently took and the couple awaiting final payment!!!! I know there where a lot of 22 cal orders taken and now filled in the last couple years! That is Awesome! Hope to hear all about your shooting experience and look forward to seeing your targets posted in upcoming postal shoot!

Congrats Brian. It's been quite a journey, but you're almost there. Plus, you didn't lower your standards to shorten the turn around time, which has to have been hard, but in the end it was the only way to do it. Hopefully getting mine early next week, really looking forward to start using it. Have a great holidays and a happy new year!

Received my latest shipment of dies from nitride today. They look great as always. Got a bit of work to do cleaning and polishing them. I expect the next be shipment rush to come first thing into the new year, just a few weeks away, got a bit of family Christmas time to attend to. Shipping during the Christmas rush isn't much fun, just waiting on the thousands of dollars worth of this shipment to and from Nitride processing was very stressful for me, all those dies, all that income, my reputation all in the hands of those I have no control over during shipping.

In the mean time I have cleaned and reorganized the shop after the 22 cal rush, cast a bunch of cores for 6mm, 6.5mm and 30 cal, cleaning/annealing brass and jackets, basically getting all the small stuff ready for the next big rush and shipments of the final dies on my back order list. Then I'll be starting the process all over again machining new dies to rebuild inventory with much sorter wait times my goal for 2015.

I'll keep everyone posted and updated. Good shooting and happy holidays!
