Get a silicone ice cube tray that has suitable size square holes for "mini ice cubes". Amazon has a ton

What I do is get a flat piece of tin or even shelving with holes already drilled in it or drill the smallest holes the round balls will sit on without rolling off and bake em. If you don't care for a tiny ring on them, shave it of and powder coat once more to cover it

    Wink

A couple months ago, I coated some .734 round balls for my 12 ga. I set the balls on the flat sprue on a tin sheet and slid them in the oven. Yep, you have to use some finesse, drink a couple cups of joe to keep your nerves at bay. Only had one roll off its sprue pedestal. Rolled it back up and carried on.

The tin with holes in it sounds like a good idea. I'll be lookin at Good Will or St. Vinnie's for that.
    If a 41 won't stop it, I wouldn't bet my life on a 44.
