    38 S&W Dies

Hey guys, I just refinished my father-in-law's S&W 38. I would like to load up 50 rounds for him when I hand it back. Problem lies that I don't have the reloading dies for 38 S&W. If anyone could help me out and possibly lend me the dies for a day, It would greatly appreciated. I know I am new to the forum and I know this can get "tricky" with people not wanting to trust others who haven't been around for a while. I live in Englewood and would be willing to meet someone FTF, buy you a cup of coffee and chat for a bit if you like.

I've got brass, primers & powder...just no boolits to load them. So that being said, if anyone has some 158 gr lead .357 round nose boolits they would be willing to sell me, I'm game. My father-in-law is a retired fire marshall and an awesome guy. Refinishing the gun was fun, but giving him some rounds to shoot with it would be the icing on the cake. Thank you all very much.

I'm not local, but realize that if it is a 38S&W you will need boolits in excess of .360 most likely. There are a number of guys here who load for it, Buckshot included. Try doing a search for "38S&W" and see what you find.

You can use the 148 grain 38 Special HBWC. It performs rather well in the larger bores.

You guys are awesome. I really appreciate the feedback. I will look into the 148 grain HBWC as I do have load data for that. Thank you all again.
