LEE 358-75-wc Group buy starts here

    LEE 358-75-wc

I will be running this buy till November 1st. If we don't make the 25 mark then It will run till we do.

You can get either a 2 cavity or a 6 cavity.

2 cavity is $35.00 and comes with handles

6 cavity is $61.00 and comes WITHOUT handles

The cost includes the mould, shipping , and a little extra to buy "lar45" one of each mould for his time and effort drawing this up Any left over funds will be sent to help support "Cast Boolits"

Please no complaining!!!!!! If you don't like it, Don't buy it. If it does not have to do with buying this mould, Please don't post it here.

If you want a mould P.M me and I will send you my mailing address.

Payments to be made by Check or money order. All payments will be held till the close of the group buy. After I cash them I will wait 14 days for the checks to clear. After the 14 days the order will go to LEE.

Update: This will be ran as .360 not .358

I was kinda hoping for a 6 cavity, but it's your buy. So is it any cheaper if I buy 2 moulds or just 2 x 35.00?

    This comes with handles?

And I'd guess this is for light .38s??

If there is anyone willing to accept online payment (like PayPal) then please order an extra mould and send it me (Finland, Europe). I will gladly pay for that "first expensive" mould and all extra costs.

    Edit: Helping hand found.

Are you sure that you don't want to tell LEE to make these .359" or .360" in diameter, so that we will get a bullet that drops at .358" and NOT .356"? Lee loves to make there molds undersized....

I feel somewhat responsible for this particular group buy since it seemed to start with a picture I posted showing my small wadcutter. I have been using this particular little boolit for quite some time now firing it in several .38/.357's. I initially got in to it just for the heck of it more or less just to see what all I could do with it. I did not know at the time I would be casting so many of them and using this little wadcutter in a wide range of applications.

Like many here I like to walk the woods and in the fall hunt small game (squirrel, rabbit, etc.) and a .22 pistol was carried. Between the two I favor carrying my heavier revolvers the the lighter framed .22's and one of the first projects was to see if I could use this little boolit effectively as a small game getter. It worked, I now hunt small game with a .357 mag., should see the looks on people faces when they see you carrying a squirrel and a .357 mag..

To shorten this up, it is excellent for helping children, women and new shooters learn to handle a larger revolver as there is essentially no recoil. And then there are the multiple loadings, yup I've done them and they are fun and seem to be the focus of this group buy, this is all well and good. Personally I will shoot a single projectile many, many more times than I shoot the multiples. I'm glad this GB is running perhaps in the future is there may enough interest a 6 cavity will be offered for me this would be ideal. For now a two cavity will double production.

Another way to possibly look at this is from a pound of lead you get 47 148 gr. wadcutters, and 93 75 grainers from the same pound.

At any rate Jeremy my check will be forth coming, my only concern is as deadguy stated (Are you sure that you don't want to tell LEE to make these .359" or .360" in diameter, so that we will get a bullet that drops at .358" and NOT .356"? Lee loves to make there molds undersized....) one thing this boolit needs to be is properly sized and well defined.

I have no problem going from .358 to .360 .................But, I have 2 payments in the safe and more on the way. I am not the type to change it in mid-stream. If those that have paid are fine with it I'll talk with lar45 to see if he can change it for us

I am going to get ahold or those that have paid and see what they say.

I personnaly would prefer bigger. I had hoped I could even use it in my 38 S&W pocket pistol which likes .359.

    358 plus

The 358 would be a plus for the old top break 38 S&W pistols I would think.
I have a small posse of them and am looking for a small safe bullet to plink with.
This may just be that selection!
Have a 115 Gr 357 SWC but...... this would be another addition to my addiction!
Will have to wait and see where the $ tank is close to the end of October.
