    Nice gun. I see the stock has been refinished. That is NOT the original finish. I just sold the one I had to a fella in Baltimore, Maryland. I really liked it for the compact size and it's very lightweight. Very fun gun to deer hunt with. Put a scope on it and you'll have a very nice hunting gun. The pictures below are of the one I had, with, and without the scope on it. It also shows the original finish of these guns.

    I bet ya it's a laminate stock. Not as "authentic" but far stronger and more stable.

    It is Laminate look above I took the varnish off it was at least 10 layers thick, looks better.
