    '74 Sharps #3 Trigger

    I ran across a Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 Sporter #3 .45-90 that hs beautiful wood, Creedmoore tang and globe front sight. Unfortunately, it has a single stage trigger. I'm wondering what the pull weight is on it...3#, 6#? The seller doesn't know. Any guesses what Shiloh makes a single trigger pull?

    I'd call Shiloh if it matters to you. If I had to guess I'd say 3lbs as this was the minimum weight for the original Creedmoor rifles. But that's just a wild guess.

    I just got a response from the seller and he told me it was 5#...sort of heavy for this type of rifle I think.

    You could send it to shiloh and have a double set trigger installed.
