Paper Patch Bullets take first and second places.

At the Lodi Long Range Rifle Shooting competition held earlier this month. The winner of the 800, 900,and 1000 yard match was the high priest of US Paper Patching, Professor Brent Danielson. Second place was also taken by a shooter using PP Bullets. Now that's kicking sand in the faces of the grease groovers. lol. Way to go Brent. That's given the GG merchants something to think about. Loving it.

Actually Brent has either won that match or been in the top 3 for several times now. I believe a year or so ago all 3 top finishers were shooting patched.
Kenny Wasserburger has made some good showings at Phoenix with patched the last couple of years.
Orville Loomer won the Montana 1000 yd a couple years back.
Dick Savage has won the scope class and placed well into the top finishers at Alliance on a couple of occasions and also finished in the top ten at the Quigley last year.
There's been a plenty of good finishes put up by patched shooters the last few years, and it'll probably only get to be more as more folks spend the time to get patched rounds to shoot with "match accuracy".
But there will always be the doubting Thomas that doesn't think patched bullets can be as accurate as greasers.
