    More signs of Normalcy???

Just stopped by my local gun store/pawn shop, and they have lots of small and large pistol primers!
Plenty of Federal, CCI and Winchester.
Also, a lot more guns, even a couple of AR's! Guy said powder still a problem though.
Have noticed that Feebay prices have come down to something more Earth like also.

The primers were pretty much all about $33 per thousand.

At a local gun show over the weekend you could fund most primers, LR were $40 and SP were $45...22LR prices were crazy, worse than a show a couple months back, seen a few coming to stores at normal pricing though. Bullets are showing up more often on shelves, powder is touch-and-go yet...Have plenty of everything except 20 cal bullets...might need them for next year.
Take a kid to the range, you'll both be glad you did.

Went by my local shop last week, Primers any size were $5.99 a hundred and a limit of 5. 22 shells are outragious and see no hint of getting a box in the near future. More weapons are showing up with smaller price tags.

.22 LR is the barometer. When it's available in large quantities at a fair price the horde-fest will be over. I saw some ******* trying to sell individual boxes of target ammo for $15 apiece.
Meanwhile, the state hunter safety program instructors can't get it for their students.

22LR is still rediculous at the auction sites... i agree that this thing will be over when 22LR returns to sane levels... i'm sure that the days of the $15 brick are over, so i assume the new normal will be $25

My local Cabelas had tens of thousands of their branded 22lr in 500 round commemorative, wooden boxes this morning. $29

If you need it, it is at the Columbus, OH location if you live close. One box a person limit.

I saw primers for $40 per 1K and powder was about $35 per lb last weekend in southern AZ.

Still kinda drought conditions up here. Stuff goes out as fast as it comes in. Local Sportsmans Warehouse has had a couple of pounds of Steel and a couple of pounds of e3 for a long time. Someone must have figured out something to load with them as they were all gone the other day. I haven't seen any 22lr in months. Primers trickle in sporadically and you better be there when they unpack them.....and get your three per sku limit.

If coming out of the drought is my LGS jacking the price of 9mm FMJ from $30/50 to $50 and 22LR for $7/50 to $9, then I can hardly wait to see the new jacked up prices next week!!!
