Has anyone just had a bull barrel put on a mark II without replacing the complete upper and how did it come out and if you don't mind saying who you used.

I have a Douglas barrel on a MkII and used the same receiver. I purchased the handgun and all the work from Clark Custom in Louisiana. I have been using it in weekly competition for five years and it work great and is very accurate.

A guy I know has a 5" ruger mark2 he had a lilja blank fitted to and it is a tack driver. He uses it for rimfire stages of NRA bullseye.Nice looking job its a stainless barrel in a blued reciever sort of a diffrent look. I dont know the process used or the smith that did the work though
No big problem here just screw out the old tube in a barrel vise and screw in and index the new one.
