I had the full diameter wad cutters in mind as shown in the 2nd and last picture you posted.
There is a group buy discussion going on a .44 wadcutter pattered after the Lyman 429352, which is of the pattern you want.
A MP mold can be used to cast a solid slug by reversing the pins.

I have had Tom at Accurate Molds design me several different full wadcutters and they are currently in his catalog. They are beautiful and arrive at your door in just a few days !

I'd sign up for 165gr .358 diameter, or a 270gr .454 diameter. What, exactly did you have in mind? Skip would probably be interested in a gang mold in a .358. Lay down some perameters and see if you can get some consensus. Sometimes folks don't even realize they need a new mold til it's suggested. You might not find one everyone likes, but it only takes 15 for a GB........
