I got one just like it . .45 Colt and ,410 are just fine , I use the OOO Winchester . The 45/70 kills on one end and can maim on the other , when I shot the 300 gr Win load .

I don't think it would hurt much, it would just leave fast!
Might be hard to find in the woods, like looking for empty nine brass.

Never shot a 45-70 in a derringer. Closest I've come is four .437 round balls in a Mag-Tech all brass 410 shell over a stiff charge of 2400.

It hurt. And I'm not all that sensitive to handgun recoil. I've shot my ADC three incher in 45 ACP/AR with a 265 grain Keith at 900 feet + and not have it bother me. Well, I could feel it after twenty or thirty rounds. I must be getting old.

Kinda like a "Belly Gun" for Brown Bears (that deserves to be capitalized)? You know, just as the bear takes your head in its mouth you put that to his throat and shoot yourself?
We need somebody/something to keep the government (cops and bureaucrats too) HONEST (by non government oversight).

Every "freedom" (latitude) given to government is a loophole in the rule of law. Every loophole in the rule of law is another hole in our freedom. When they even obey the law that is. Too often government seems to feel itself above the law.

We forgot to take out the trash in 2012, but 2016 was a charm! YESSS!
