Question Load Data for .44 Magnum using 350 grain gas check boolit

I stumbled on to a 350 grain Lyman mold for the .44 calibers in my life and I know it will be wonderful in my .444 , but I think I would like to shoot it in my .44 mag rifle and pistol. If any one has load data or suggestions for locating such data I would be very thankful. I have looked and turned up very little, I read about 320 grain boolits and it was said they were too heavy for the magnum and would not seat deep enough for the Marlin throat. All info is appreciated.

    crebid,

I have tried and used a 310gr LFN cast (LBT) in a Marlin 44 with the same loads I use in my RUGER RedHawk.

Because of the boolit length however, I did need to cycle them slowly in the lever action.

They shot fine in the Microgroove barrel.

The other comment I'd make is, in a single action such as a RUGER BlackHawk, I did see damage to the cross pin that retains the cylindar pin, and to the cylindar pit itself.

This was due to the recoil with the heavy boolits of 310 and heavier that I was using.

Were I to again use a BH with heavy bullets/boolits, I would look at buying an aftermarket center pin that has the set screw installed with the hope of not again seeing the cross and center pin damage.

The RedHawk just takes a lick'in and keeps on tick'in with the same 310gr loads as a steady diet. One very tough gun!

If you would share the load data (even in a PM) , I am looking for a starting direction. I have a large variety of powders and not sure of a good direction to start. With today's prices , I hate to waste components if I do not have to.

Here are some TC Encore 12" barrel, 44 mag loads; they work for me, are safe in my guns, but I have no idea if they are safe for you to use in your guns.......that determination is up to you to make.

330gr GC, water dropped WW boolits
    Starline cases
    Win Lg Pistol primer

    H-110; 19.5gr to 21.5gr 1246fps to 1316fps
    Lil'Gun; 18.5gr 1435fps

My encore has a long throat. I was able to seat the boolits out well past the crimp groove, as in .100" past the crimp groove, allowing room for more powder........and an increase in pressure.
