    Mihec/MP Molds

I have been trying to get the Mihec/MP Mold website up for 1 1/2 days but it won't come up. Anyone know what's going on?

Works for me too, and I was on a couple days ago. Do you have the current Windows/IE updates installed?

One thing I have noticed about that site is that it's a little clunky–it's nowhere near as easy as the NOE sight to see what's available.

This is kinda crazy......I can't get it on my desktop, laptop or IPad. I have tried IE7, Chrome and Safari. I just ran a network check and it tells me the problem is with the MP Molds side but if you guys are getting there, I don't get it. I'm looking for his mold handles, just ordered a NOE mold and read MP handles will fit.....if I can give both a little business I will.

    Works for me as well.

Side note. When you have issues like this, this site comes in handy.

    + about a million.

I only acquired my four-holer MP .455 Webley mold after discovering the existence of a past group buy, searching back to find the months-old thread, and e-mailing Miha about it - to which he responded that he still had a few left. I congratulate the man on making an AWESOME mold, but his website was useful only in that it allowed me to contact him and ask the question.

I'm computer-hating Luddite with no room whatsoever to throw stones, but he'd be selling more molds if we could clearly see what he has.

He is a one man shop and totally overrun with orders as is. My bet is that the last thing in the
world he could deal with is more customers, so he seems to have put the web page on
a low priority basis. Also he is in Serbia, and I have traveled a lot in former soviet states and
most Americans have no idea how difficult it can be at times to get what seems to be ordinary
things done, be it acquiring materials or getting a web page written, changed or replaced.
There are commercial and bureaucratic issues that we have a lot of trouble even imagining.

He makes fantastic molds and if keeping up is his web page lowered his output by even
1% it would be a bad trade off for us.

Maybe at some point, he will decide to expand and have enough staff to make it all happen,
but I think it may be a bit unrealistic now.

Please note that ALL of the above is my opinion based on buying a number of molds and
communicating with him a number of times in the past. I am not in contact with him and
am not in any way officially replying for him, just hoping to clarify for folks that may not
    be familiar with the situation.

    Bill,
Thanks for the info. I expect it has been quite a while since many of us saw any news about life behind the former Iron Curtain.

Sometimes a one man shop can offer true Old World Craftsmanship type of work, which may be another thing we don't see as often around here.

Also he posts a spreadsheet of what is on hand from time to time. The last one that I saw,
was posted in early March so probably not too accurate now. Also, please note that MP is
primarily a custom supplier to group buys, not a stocking dealer with all models in the
warehouse. He is doing group buy after group buy, and makes some extras to sell after
    the group buy is satisfied.

So if you want an MP mold, and they are superb quality, go to the Group Buys and spend the
time there finding what is coming, get your spot in line and wait. It seems like the group
buys are keeping him about 100% tied up.

" but he'd be selling more molds if we could clearly see what he has."

Somehow, I don't think selling *more* moulds is on his list of problems.

Sorry for mistating his location. I knew it was a former state from Yugoslavia
and started with an S. My mistake. When I took geography (early stone age)
the whole area was just "Yugoslavia" and I am still playing geographic
    catch-up.

I just ordered a mold on mp-molds.com today. I saw his .pdf file and Pm'd him over a week ago. The reply came today, saying to just use his e-store. It always took a few days minimum before, he must really be swamped these days.

I emailed him via his website a week ago about his version of the HG 68. He responded in about 48 hours and then followed up with an email today saying the mold was now available. I immediately went on his website and ordered. No problems accessing the website and I thought he offered pretty quick service given the current market climate. If my last order is any indication I will have my molds by the middle of next week.
