Good Will used to have good prices and near empty shelves. Now they have horrible prices and the shelves are running over.
    I don't even stop anymore.

How about a big coffee can?
Yep, works just fine in a water bath heated in a pan on the stove

A big coffee can works. I've made several batches using one.

I got mines from the local walgreens for 10 bucks brand new. Might try there.
Change? Not this type. Can we just have a refund?

Seriously, some people will spend $10 on gas to buy something @ a garage sale & save $5. GO to Wally, buy their cheap stuff, done.

I use a crock pot from wally world for the reasons mentioned above. Tried finding a hot plate (for higher temp mixing) at garage sales etc. but finally gave up and just bought one from target.

Gasoline costs more than just buying.

I use an electric skillet the wife decided she didn't like anymore. Nice feature is they have more precise temp settings. For lube, I put 1/4" of water in it and set it to simmer. Lube is in a stainless steel dog bowl ( $.99 from Good Will) and I set that in the skillet. Not quite a double boiler but close and effective.

I just grab one of the old Griswold cast iron fry pans off the stove in the house and run quiet like to my reloading shack. Usually wife doesn't wake up till I bring the pan back to the house and she smells eggs and coffee cooking. The Red-n-tacky definitely puts a new twist on the eggs but the wife and I have been pretty "regular" lately, and so far she hasn't complained. I do know that one day she will catch on and there will be heck to pay. JW

You mean StealGreens? I've never seen such ridiculous prices as they have, but I'll check it out.

I use a fondue pot. Works great.
Yes I can buy it, but great pride can be taken when I make it myself!
