Failure is not an Option
My load for IHMSA in the strong FA 357 revolver is the RCBS 200gr boolit with 16.3gr ADI2205 (4227). Usual warnings apply.....OK in my gun but may not be in yours.
A+ on the RCBS 200gr rifle bullet in the 357 mag ! probly one of the most accurate 358 cal cast bullet designes out there for handgun or rifle!
My pet .357 load for IHMSA silhouettes was the old NEI #151 (170 gr. TC) over 16.0 gr. of IMR4227. Don't recall that I ever chrono'd the load but, from a 10" Contender, a solid hit would drop 200M rams quite smartly. Also tried shooting the same load for NRA Hunter Pistol but match director threatened me with a DQ for bending his mild steel 100M rams.
