I pray that the picture above is something that I never actually see in person. The up close & personal view from the front end of a loaded .44 is very unsettling to me.

The unsettling part for me is the finger on the trigger, no matter what the caliber. But he still gets my vote for the best pic so far.

One would hope they were dummy rounds. Or at the very least that the camera was on a tripod being tripped by the self timer or remote and there was a good backstop behind it.

you dont dare rest your finger on my ruger blackhawk itll go off i dont think it has a 1 lb trigger got it in trade with a triggerjob done on it its gone off at the range more than once fortunatly i dont put my finger on any of my guns unless ready to fire and is always aimed in a safe direction / im sure it was a triggered camera who would be nervy , or dumb enough to take it ,.... nice picture though , those hollowpoints look wicked bad !!

A well used 625-8 fresh from the match. The boolits are Lee 452-228-1R loaded as cast and lubed with Rooster Jacket. I'm going to miss Rooster Jacket.

Tripod with self timer ... Besides my viewing screen swivels around so I can see what I'm aiming at ... Still took quite a few to get the lighting and focus right ...

    Here is the same gun

Don't remember ... Camera was/is a Canon set to macro mode probably ... F stop ... no idea (whatever the camera selected) shutter? I let the camera pick! Light? Overhead with the camera's built in flash ...

But the real key to getting a good picture, is having "proper" help!

Here is a different boolit (MiHec 439640) but with the boolit centered in the barrel, you miss most of the rifling ...
