    .172 M-type (SAS) dies Buy Now/Bid

Looks like a core seating and point forming die set on that really big auction web-site. Here is the link if you're game: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/200908772...84.m1436.l2649

Looks like the seller has measured one of the punches at .1705" so I'm assuming he's got a .172 flat base die. I'd grab it but there is just no real demand for .172 projectiles at the moment. Not sure how you'd go sourcing a .172 core swage die to suit at the moment either, but you might get lucky?

They look like an early set of B&A dies.

I fear contacting the seller would just push up the price.

Some of the pricing on his other items for sale is scary!

Yeah I see what you mean. Not sure what the RCBS press he has sells for down under but I think he is about double for what it sells up in the U.S.

I'm powder coating a couple of prototype A2 RCBS presses for my bullet swaging mentor at the moment. If prices are that high, he's sitting on gold mine. He often imports used Rockchuckers off the internet auction sites, but recently rusted junk has been going for more than USD$75.

He did push his price up! His "buy it now" started out at $199.99, and now it's $249.99!

This is what it was when he first listed it:

I thought it started out at $199.99 as well. Seems like he's having an auction with himself at the moment.
