I fireformed some 9.3x62 from .30-06 using 6gr bullseye, a tissue wad and a caseful of cornmeal. I don't have a lot of bullseye left, but I do have Unique. I'm thinking of doing the same load with Unique, any reason why it would'nt work?
I want to make them up and blow them out as I'm sending the rifle off to get the bolt bent and I want to make up at least 50 rounds before it comes back.
Will most likely need far more powder but it should still work.
If you have some TiteGroup, you can sub it for the Beye. It works better than a small charge of Unique & burns almost the same speed as Beye does. Even a bigger charge of Unique may need more weight to burn well & form out than what you'll get w/o a boolit. YMMV though
