On my M95 Hungarians I use a piece of electrical tape over the bottom of the mag well to keep the clip in the weapon and do not worry about stepping on it. Should work on the MC's too.

Goodsteel has my action . Mine was well polished richly blued.........loped off a 16 1/2" about .01 for head space and a huge MonteCarlo ,no sights,generally beautiful but useless beyond a door stop.
It should be home soon rebbl'd for 7x6.8 SPC aka 7mmRWH and ready for the Boyd's stock and the scout scope and/or halo sight I may include a rail mounted "safari"sight as well. Don't panic it will most likely never see a jacket in the bore .
