Anyone using the Lyman / Ideal 358425?

Picked up an Ideal version a little while back and just cast it today. Interesting design... A button nose wad cutter with 2 small round grease grooves that drops 112 grains from my range scrap alloy. This one casts a .360 body with a short .347 diameter portion forward of the shoulder. I assume that it is intended to be loaded crimped over the shoulder with the forward portion out of the case.

Does anyone else have one of these? If so, how do you like it? Any pet loads? I was thinking of starting with Bullseye...

I've got the same mold. Very accurate in my GP 100 with a light load of Trail Boss, Bullseye or Unique. Bullseye start at 2.0 grains, Unique start at 4.5 grains. I believe it is loaded button up crimped in first grove. I think you will like this. Tim

That top groove ( near the button ) is clearly a crimp groove

That said, do not crimp INTO that groove. YOu want only a very slight crimp.
