Lyman #410032, I have this mould also. It uses top punch #429, which is usually a 38/357 tool. My cavities produce 212 grain SWCs that have shot very well in several 41 Magnums for me, 800 to 1250 FPS. Like most SWCs, it cuts clean holes in target paper like a wadcutter. No large game taken with it yet, but it does fine work on varmints like ground squirrels and jackrabbits.

Mine came packaged/new in the currently-used Lyman orange plastic box, and I bought it in 2004. I don't know whether or it was "current production" status at that time or not. I'm not sure exactly when Lyman started packing moulds in that manner, sometime in the 1990s IIRC.

I do -what powder? btw you can just use jacketed data of the same weight - as the boolit usually weighs around 212 gr- use 210-220gr data and you should be fine

My favorite load with this boolit has been 9.0 grains of Herco, for about 900-950 FPS in my revolvers. 90% of my 41 Magnum shooting has been done with loads of this medium-level intensity.

Here is the load data from the Lyman 44th Edition, published in 1967. The boolit is listed as the 41032, before they added the extra zero to their identifier scheme.

I've been using that mold for almost 30 years. Good design for mid level loads, I did have some problems when I pushed it too hard from a Contender, but it worked well in revolvers. One caveat: When seated and crimped in the crimp groove the cartridge will be too long for use in the Taurus Model 425SS4, 41 Magnum "Tracker". Great gun and a great bullet design, just not meant for each other.

Colorado, no tomes y reformes, es muy peligroso.
Red, don't drink and reload, it will leave you open to dangerous mistakes.
