    Rem. International SS Opinions

    I just saw these as I was surfing on Gun broker http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=77481564 .Anyone have any first hand experience with these ? Better or worse than a H&R Handy rifle? and where the heck are they made Spain, Turkey, Russian??? TIA

    Remington is selling Russian shotguns so this could well be from Russia also. One web page showed it available in a lot of nice calibers, here's a page that offers it for sale at $206.95 but lists only 4 calibers. I want to say it looks a lot like a Number 1 but they can't possibly sell falling block actions at that price. http://www.guns4ever.com/catalog.php...tegory&id=6979

    That's exactly what they are. A friend bought one in .308 Winchester recently, the only problems he encountered were extraction problems when shooting some surplus 7.62x51 ammo and a creepy trigger. The extraction problems ended with commercial ammo and handloads, the trigger is still being messed with.
