    military roller trigger tricks

recently had a old military remington roller in 43 spanish follow me home and we imediatly fell in love. everything about this solid and pristine rifle is great except the awfull trigger pull. has anybody found a trial to a better trigger pull on these old remingtons?

i have seen photos of double set triggers on these but dont know where to look for them nor who might have made em or if they still do offer them...anybody??

    thankyou

    Here's what i do:

Measure the hammer spring at the tip and devide that by 3. Thin the intire spring to a point that is the middle thierd.
Hammer spring to a point the same way.

It will take a RB from 7-8lbs down to 2½-3lbs

A belt sander is perfect and by all means hold the spring with your bare fingers, that way it wont get to hot

Or you can order one here. http://www.rollingblockparts.com/index.html
I got one of theirs and it is amazing the difference it makes in my Swedish roller.

Hmm. My 1902 7mm came with a 2 lb crisp, it has always amazed me. I guess
    that isn't normal.

Polished. Took the roughest marks out with a rotary tool sanding drum then by hand on a india stone coarse/fine with oil. Those mainsprings are HARD and will take quite a while this method.

The rounded end that goes up inside the hammer be sure to do that end nicely. I used Tetra Lube there.
