    Mihec180 + 844T

I have a lot of surplus 844T but have been hesitant to get into it for lack of data. It seems to be closest to H335 so I used tht data with a 10% reduction. I've worked up to 30.0g and Wow! Using the 180g gas check bullet from the Mihec group buy I've managed a 9 shot group with all holes touching at 50 yards. I had one flyer I called out.

Dunno where velocity is and unsure if I should go any further. Not because of safety concerns either. I could defiantly move up a little more but dang it shoots so good here.

They were sized .311, Hornady checks and Bens Red lube.
    Rifle is a Ruger M77mkII

Just though somebody out there might like to know.

If you would, please chrono it. I would imagine you are close to 1800 fps or so. You will probably find that your chosen powder will let you go up to about 38K before you loose some accuracy. I've shot the original version for a long time and a very slow powder will let you go higher in velocity......... much higher with better accuracy.
