this is a group buy i did for a local forum recently
i figured this would be a cool thing to share and help get this sub forum rolling

so a little info. i had the blades waterjet cut off of a cad file that i drew up. this saved me a ton of work on the bandsaw and grinding the profiles.

i also had the handles CNC profiled from a buddy's mill. that saved me even more time messing with profiling that dusty stuff! it was all canvas micarta 1/4" thick.

i ground out the blades.
hardened
cryo treated
temper cycles
then i started to clean up the grinds and the flats to a high polish.
i glued up the handles and started to texture them
finished up the profile to the same fine grit that the blades were ground to
i finished up the handles with bead blasting
then i made some sheaths
i etched my name on the spine
i sharpened these bad larry's and shipped em out!

i think they were about 8" overall
3/16" thick steel
stainless pin and thong hole tube
kydex sheath
canvas micarta handles

I don't have any more finished right now but I did have extra blanks cut.

I have one in the works that basically needs handles and a sheath to be done. Maybe another 3 hours of work.

I do have one that I kept for myself too
