    First boolits

I was finally able to put everything together and do my first cast and powder coat session recently. These were done with a Lee 4-20 pot, a PID I built, Lee 9mm moulds, Eastwood powder, and some lead I got off eBay, as not to waste any of the good stuff I was able to acquire from here. I just wanted to share some images of this first session.

Excellent, welcome! Are you going to use them as- cast? In what gun? Your post reminded me that I need to load some Nines as well.

Nice looking boolits. My first cast boolits looked like they were in a fire, or already fired. Kept educating myself ( almost 40 years, and counting ) and now I can cast pretty passable boolits. There is literally thousands of years of research, testing, and knowledge on this website. Welcome to the site!

slasher has been a member longer than most of us, just hasn't posted much. LOL

It's good to see members welcoming members with low post counts!!!!

Welcome to the obsession of casting and PCing, looks like your 10 years of "Lurking" has paid off.

Those are excellent results for your first attempt at casting and PCing.

    Welcome Aboard!

Those look good, especially for a first attempt. I see a reject or two in the pile but we all have a few of those! And you will have fewer and fewer of them as you gain experience.

    Thanks, everyone. I appreciate it.
Texas by God, These will be shot out of either my Glock 19 or Shield. I just need to size them first.
Nun2kute, I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet.
Slugster, you are correct. I have spent a ton of time on here since late last year learning as much as I can and in typical second amendment fashion, everyone is extremely nice and helpful.
mdi, LOL, there were quite a few I have to admit but all part of the fun.
Conditor22, Yeah I started here back when I got into firearms and reloading but I've never really been one to post too much. I didn't realize it had been a decade already though.
Thanks again, hopefully I got all of the questions answered and will post more as I'm able to cast.

Did you set them up on their bases before you cooked them?

    They should really shoot well.
