A country drive with my wife

After going to the flea market friday and having dinner out, on the way home my wife and I stopped at a tire shop to ask about w-wts and the owner had 14 5gal. buckets but said he had to find out the going price before he would sell.

I called scrap yard this morning and they said 10 cents per lb, called tire shop and owner said he would sell at 10 cents per lb,so after work went and bought it all, ended up being 1940lbs. So take your wife out to dinner more often and see what happens.

Best I get is a decent meal and a side order of complaint usually.
    Nice score on the WW.

Sounds like you hit the "Mother Lode" of WW's. I have been trying to find some WW's in my neck of the woods and only having limited results. Beer thrown into the deal helps.

Just found a new source $30/ 5 gal. Right now I'm willing to take anything because they're getting hard to find.

Nice catch. After smelting this weekend it looks like I have enough ww to last the rest of my shooting days or until my back gives out, whichever comes first. It seemed like it was more fun the last time I smelted any.
