    I just saw this thread for the first time. I'm shocked.

    Sam, may you rest in peace, and my heart goes out to Katy.

    I got to know Sam from buying lead from him. We messaged back and forth a good bit, but most of it wasn't about business. I really wish I'd had time to kill any of the times I was up towards his neck of the woods. He'll be sorely missed.

    Very sorry to hear this. I still have some of his isotope containers in the garage waiting to be melted down. When I do I will remember what a good fellow I bought them from.

    Tomorrow a week ago I got a phone call from Katie telling me the last thing anyone wants to hear, Steve was gone .

    It was a surreal day for the rest of the day !!! just waiting to wake up & saying "it was all a dream" but it never happened !!!

    I`ve known Steve & Katie for quite a while (can`t remember that far back)& good friends they`ve been over the yrs.

    I did`nt realize my bonds with steve until he asked me to help him with his lead ventures & we started shooting a little & smelting lead .

    Well I went back to work , & helped when I could ,but with Mrs. GP100mans failing back & 2 girls (which know everything already & hard headed as there grandmothers daughter) time drew short for helping & hobbies.

    I still enjoyed the few trips I made in the past yr. to help out what I could , wish I`d made more now ,but that`s unchangeable.

    I never told em I loved em like an older brother (not that much older though)

    I`ll miss you Steve !

    Prayers for Katie & the Family , prayers for peace & comfort in knowing where he will be waiting for us .

    Keys too blurry ,enuff for now .
