    Cast just looks better

    It does!

These aren't cast by me, just reloaded but I'm happy! I think I'm hooked now.

Feels pretty good to look in the bowl and know that you did that, doesn't it?

I'm sure glad I'm not the only one! Even though new to casting I have always thought loaded CB's always look good. At least even if I AM crazy I'm not alone!!!

Interesting, the pride we feel in our craft. And it is a craft. I always feel pride when I've cast & loaded
a couple boxes of ammo. It just feels great to know you've created some really GOOD ammo. Mike

Oh, you're NOT hooked, yet. Wait til you sit down and cast up a bunch of your own and they look "better" than those you just loaded. Then you'll notice that that pile of "boolits" just isn't quite enough.................need I say more?

Ohh, and then, you'll start browsing the Group Buy sections and realize that there are tons of custom molds being made, "in the caliber you shoot" that you just can't do without................ (sound familiar guys?).

In any case, "ENJOY". Life is short, cast away!

Sooooo, where's the rest of 'em? That's enough to warm up the barrel a little bit, but you need another 500 to start having fun!

Just loaded up about 200 more and shot them for the first time out of my 1911. It feels good knowing I'm shooting my 45 for way less than the guy next to me, and that I did it on my own.

The last time I punched it up in my calculator (before Obama got reelected) I was loading for $27 per 500. That's just the other side of .22 long rifle cost. You're gonna have to do some serious shooting to get back to what you were spending on a box of 45s!
