Which sizer die for .45 ACP

OK - read up a lot on this and went through the effort of casting soft lead slugs, then slugging the barrel of my new Sig Sauer .45 ACP. I used a Mitutoyo micrometer and measured the diameter across where the rifling grooves marked the slug. I got .45175, .45185, and .45190. Am I correct in thinking that a .452 sizer is most likely to provide optimal diameter for cast bullets? Thanks in advance.

I size all my .45 bullets at .452". All my .45's shoot them well, with minimal leading, since I don't clean them very often...

    Hope this helps.

Mine sure likes the .452 sizer, good chamber fit, no leading.

.452 has worked very well in the 3 SIG P-220s I've owned.

In another "measurement" sense......also run a Tale Of The Tape on your CASING's sizer die. I have a much-used RCBS tungsten-carbide sizer that over-reduces case diameter markedly--to .467". Too much of a good thing. My RCBS 45 Colt T/C sizer reduces the case to .469"-.4695", which feeds fine in all of my 45s and provides enough tension for meaningful expansion by the next die's spud and sufficient boolit tension. 45 Colt cases now are sized in an RCBS steel sizer that gives reduction to about .477". Literal real-world examples of die sets skewed toward jacketed-bullet reloading.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

Thanks for the replies and confirmation that .452 is the way to go. Luckily, I can still find casting related equipment during this period of sharply increased demand for all things gun-related.
