    Hunting with Cannons

Here is the classic hunting with cannons web site:
    http://www.buckstix.com/

Click on the Mt. Howitzer tab for the story of building the cannon and the "How to Hunt Wisconsin Whitetail Deer with a 12 pound Mountain Howitzer Cannon" story.

Click on the Coehorn Mortar tab for building information and "How to Hunt Feral Cats in Wisconsin with a 12 pound Coehorn Mortar Cannon" story.

I laughed my guts out reading about the howitzer . The articles make me wonder about hunting woodchucks with a mortar .

I wonder how many pounds of #5 shot it would take to make a decent turkey load.....
Did Cutts ever make a choke for a 12lber?
It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.

With forty pounds of shot I doubt you'd need a choke .
