Was given 700x as for shot shells in the early 70's. My first powder purchase was IMR 3031 for 243 in mid 70's.
Green Dot here for loading 12 ga. 1 1/4 loads to pheasant hunt. Mec, 700 12 ga. Age 13-14 , 33 years ago.
1lb of Unique in the old square can, back in 1973 along with a brand-new "old model" Ruger Blackhawk in .357mag ($99 plus tax for the gun, plus a few bucks for the powder), which kept me shooting for a long time.
8# of Red Dot circa 1974 in a cardboard can to reload 12ga.

It was a while ago,now i have a lot more types.
I picked up some IMR 8208 a few years back. I heard some good things about it. I learned about working up loads slowly so you don't get popped primers, and that a chronograph is a great thing to have when using a surplus powder. Over all, quite an enjoyable experience and a wonderful powder. I can't bring myself to load up the rest of it.
A one pound canister of Red Dot in 1974. I had some of my old Winchester shotgun shell primers that I passed on to my nephew who is just starting to get into reloading.
IMR 3031 and 4064 to work up loads for a Ruger Frontier in .308 Win.
