Yea right "child proof" more like adult proof, a child can get anything open if he is not suppose to.

Do y'all have Dolly on an iron supplement? Might be helpful to start her on one.

we came home tonight - found the remains of a box of Jiffy Cornbread mix and a box of hot chocolate packets. these she snarfed off the counter. I am going to buy a nanny-cam and set it up next time we leave the house. of course the other dogs plead ignorance but sure enjoyed the chocolate powder residue on the carpet. I am going to find the Pepto and dose everyone tonight.

This is our grocery thief who we affectionately call Lord Remington. When he wandered into our daughters 2 years ago you could count every rib and vertebrae and he had ear infections so bad that the ends of his ears were a mass of scabs from scratching and shaking his head. He weighed 86 pounds then and is up to 106 in this picture. We found out where he came from and the the neighbors talked about how he was neglected and starved. Adult Great Danes like this are supposed to average about 150 pounds. His back is even with the kitchen table and he can stand flat footed and put his chin on the kitchen counter. He's fine if we let you in the house, otherwise he is very protective of the place and absolutely will not tolerate any stray animals around the place.

The down side is that he thinks he's a lap dog.
