    Need load data....

Just got an RCBS 45-500 mold, gas checked for my 1895 marlin .45-70
I'm looking for mild to wild loads safe for the marlin.
Anyone have any load data they could share with me?
    Thanks in advance!

You can go faster, but that boolit seated to work through the Marlin over a lightly compressed load of IMR 4350 is at max SAAMI rated pressure. I know folks load them even hotter, but now you know. Plus that kicks plenty anyhow. For mild, a load of Trailboss to the base of the boolit without compression will kick them out at about 900 fps with very good accuracy.

What did the bore slug out at just curious?
I have a bunch loaded with the similar profile from an NEI mould and they work great. I'll dig up some data.

I haven't slugged it. I size them to .459 and lube with BAC
.459 seems to be what the gun likes

All my Ballards like that size too.
