You need to get a few more molds you don't have enough!!!

As to how many for what I have I don't really know went through a divorce a couple years ago and still find a mold once in a while in emptying a box for the next move this spring. I hate being a renter you are always looking at the next move as most of the time when the lease is up it is time to find a new place to rent.
Last time I did and inventory though seems I am heading towards 40-50 molds so there must be some for each caliber just don't know which or how many in each caliber. Maybe I should do an inventory by caliber next time so I have a better idea.

Just sorted the list by cal. and found (26) .45 cal molds including two .458(rifle) molds and three .457 round ball molds.

Also have 15 for .30 cal and 14 for .38/.357.

I should be a great handgun shot but I'm not.

Mine is 35 caliber. No clue what the count is. I would have more but luckily the same molds can be used for 9mm/38 Special/357. What's more troubling is that I have two 22 caliber molds. I don't own a centerfire in this caliber. And I've never owned a centerfire in that caliber. I passed up quite a few ARs today so the molds will still sit idle.

I voted 1 since most calibers I only have 1 each yet, but I do have 2 for the 44 mag and 4 for the 458 win mag, this is not counting the round ball molds I have (have RB molds for the 30/44/45 cal plus others).

Oh and 4 molds for the 45 Black Powder caliber, now just need to get a BP gun in 45 besides the Philadelphia Derringer, LOL

I would rather spend my spare time casting and reloading rather than counting my molds.
On the other hand, It may not be a bad idea. Last time I counted molds I discovered I already had a couple that I thought I wanted to buy....

Two molds per cartridge is about my average. In checking out my mold storage boxes I found the following:

    7mm Rifle: 1
    30 cal rifle: 3
    32/8mm: 3
    35 cal rifle: 1
    357/38 cal pistol: 2
    9mm: 1
    41 cal pistol: 1
    45 cal pistol: 2
    45/70 cal rifle: 2
    50/70 cal rifle: 1

Poll numbers don't go quite high enough for all the 22 molds I have, not to mention the 6mm, 7mm, 30's and 35's. Not many bigger ones though.

45 cal seems to be my favorite, thought I had 6 then realized I had a 2-cav and a 6-cav of the same boolit. I cast round balls and 535 grainers with a few stops in between. With a C&B revolver, multiple 45 ACP and 45 Colt handguns, a 45 Colt, 45-70 and a 45-90 rifle I barely have all the bases covered. Oops, just realized I had 8. Can I change my vote?
I have, or will soon have, 2 ea in 30, 32 and 35 caliber. I've only been casting for a few years so there's definitely growth potential here. Maybe it's time to make a list.

Most of my .32 handgun molds, a few are missing from the photo, and there will be a few more coming when group buys run, but this gives an idea:

Collecting .32 molds. Please let me know if you have one you don't need, cause I might "need" it!

I have accumalated many moulds for the 38/357 Mag, 6-7. I have at least two moulds for most every caliber that I have.

Yikes!!! What the heck do you shoot 3000 grain boolits at?!? That's nearly 1/2 pounds of lead!

I see you already answered that question, but I laughed so hard, I had to comment.

Still working on it, the most in one caliber is four in .45. Guess I've got some catching to do.

I should really take inventory of my collection of molds. I have been known to purchase seconds and thirds of a particular bullet mold because I forgot I already had bought one...
