Swedish 330 yard handgun competition - "300m Grizzly Shoot 2012"

I'd like to share a video of a small (very small) competitive event that me and a few friends host every year. The invitation goes out on the larger Swedish shooting forums, but usually its just the usual social circle.

Anyway, take a look and enjoy!
Most people use standard .357 Magnum revolvers, but there are a few silhouette handguns on the line now and then. We set up for four events using IMSSU Big Bore Silhouette rules - Revolver, Production, Unlimited and the local event Half-Size (scoped).

Shoot from a rest at 25/50/100 yards, then post your groupings. That is the only way to compare accuracy results.

Yes! That does look like a lot of fun.
What is the most used caliber?

I have 3, 15" Encore pistol barrels in 6mm Br., 6.5mm Br., and 7mm Br. that I plan on shooting like that with cast bullets. I have done a lot with the 6mm Br. with Sierra 70 grain Match Kings but now I want to do it with cast bullets.

You all look comfortable and happy, reclining and shooting just like Elmer did once upon a time. That is a long shot with a .357.

    Thanks, guys!
Most people use .357 Mag or .44 Mag, but some of us take it as an excuse to dust off our .357 Maximums and .30-30's.

The reclined shooting positition is a style preferred in Sweden, you rarely see someone in the creedmore position.

You people are a bunch of hard cores, shooting in the snow like that.
That really looks like fun. As a former IHMSA shooter and director I could get excited about that shoot.
I really miss our long range hand gun shoots.
We did nothing as organized as your matches, but we had 24" saw blades hung at 325 and 350 yds.
We shot at them with everything from 45 ACPs to 50BMGs and all handguns and rifles in between.
Long range shooting at gongs has to be one of the most fun sports in shooting.
I suppose that is why I likes handgun Silhouettes so much.
I`m glad to see you people having such a good time and wish I was there to shoot with you....dale
