    700x with slugs

    Used search option and couldn't find anything so thought I might get an answer here.

    Anyone have a load for 700X in a AA hull using a 1oz Slug?

    Going to try some 1oz Lee Slugs that I cast.

    Yes.

    17 grains 700X, WSL (pink) wad, approximately 1200 fps. Use in tapered wall hulls only. Winchester primers in this load, but other mild to medium primers may be substituted.

    Thank you, been using 14 grains of 700X under 1oz of shot for some LIGHT trap loads with the pink wads. Will just bump the powder up a little.
