    Anybody date these?

Not sure where to put this... Curious how old they might be. Before my time. Thanx

'60s or '70s, looks like to me. Just from my more-than-ever-fallible memory.

If you'd like some older ones, I have some old Remington copper primers for you....

If the CCI's are stainless, I'd load 'em up... I'm still working through a stash of old 50's and 60's primers I bought from an estate sale a dozen years ago... box of about 8,000 primers (mostly Lg Rifle)

I traded for some reloading supplies back in the summer and there was a box of 1,000 large rifle primers just like those in it. So far, they have all shot fine in my .30-30 cast bullet loads. I wish that there had been more!!

Pre 1972, but how far "Pre" I can't really say. I think They went to the square white boxes cerca 1967, but I didn't start reloading until 1970.

Those are the ones I started loading with about 1967.

That's what the boxes looked like when I started reloading -- in 1957. The price also points to that era, around a half-cent per primer.

    If I remember correctly...

All of our equipment came from Herter's and Hodgdon's, and some from diverted factory distribution to dealers. My dad worked for Peters in the sales arena at that time and knew counterparts. Barter system was alive and well then. ... felix

I have several bricks of those era CCI primers I'm still working on using up. They all have performed well so far.

That box design pre-dates 1968 which was when I started loading.
