    88 Commission Shooters

For alll you shooters of the 88 Commission rifle GPC has repro clips on hand now. They are kinda spendy but $8 as comapred to VINTAGE 20 and up prices on Gunbroker makes them downright cheap. I have 10 of them and they work just fine. Use a clip saver and they will last a lifetime.

Me too, I could use half a dozen or more for my Haenel Sporting Rifle.

Ohhhh......Gun Parts Corp! In my best Homer Simpson........DOH!

I just noticed.....the description says "for round nosed bullets only". So the loading and shooting of spitzers with this clip is verboten? I'd like an explanation if someone knows why.........

I ordered a couple a while back. Had to work on them a little as they were really tight. Hard to chamber a round, left gouges in the brass and didn't fall through.

Just got mine and they are a little tight but work OK in my Kar88. My originals have been reused so much they are loose and I hesitate to bend them for fear of breaking them.

I ended up modifying a couple of the ones I got with the last order. They were a tad too thick and bent in too much. I have pictures if anyone needs to know where and how to remove metal.

    Stripper Clips

Yeah I know. I've been told before. They're not quite "correct".
But neither am I, nor is my gun. They are new, they work, and they're cheap.
I can keep my "period" ones at home and take these to the range.
    If only I had a Mauser with a 10 round magazine ...

    Otherwise, try these: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/MGR-343
They also work, just not as easily.
