    Lee 452-160-RF in a 1911?

Does anyone use the lee 452-160-RF in a 1911 as a lightweight plinking load? How does it feed? I love shooting my 1911 and have been on a quest for a boolit that consumes less lead so I can shoot more, I tried the lyman 452389 and it feed reliably, but not smoothly.

I realize the boolit was designed for 45 LC but tinkering is the name of the game around here and before I start experimenting I was wondering if someone had already tried it so I don't have to start from scratch.

    Thanks everyone.

i use a similar 160 rnfp in my 45's and a rnfp 225 colt boolt too.
you just gotta work up the load it takes a bit more than 6.0 grs of unique to work the slide in my 1911's with the 160.
    they feed just fine.

thanks, feeding was my main concern. How is accuracy? Obviously its just going to be a plinking load, but I'd like to hit a few cans and milk jugs.

the 225 rnfp is my preferred boolit in the 1911's, over the H&G68 and the lyman 200 swc.
the 160 does pretty well considering it's not quite square.
i use it in my 45 levergun when deer hunting to snipe the heads off grouse.
it's a short range boolit though, keep it in the 25-30 yd range and it'll do pretty well for jugs and steel plates and such.

i use it in a hipoint 45auto pistol
realy like it fast +++++ about 1100 fps
    low recoil
    no jaming
do need to bump up the powder with it
weather or not it will work in the 1911 feed wise ????????
the hipoint will gobble any ammo without a jamming from 160 gr to 252 gr
