Left Coast Caster Social Group New Years Day Shoot

What better way to bring on the new year than with the smell of burnt gunpowder in your nostrils?
I am planning on holding this event in Greenwater on the trail #70 road. It'll be brisk. Dress warm.
I'll post further details to this thread as they come along. Feel free to post comments, concerns, or RSVP.
Of course this is open to all Cast Boolit members. Perhaps you'll be in town seeing the grandkids for the holidays.

For Heaven's sake, man, WHERE IS THIS?

Give us at least SOME indication of location, beyond clues that only local people will understand. What major city is closest? Major highways?

Southeast of Auburn Washington which is a Seattle suburb towards Mt. Rainier. I will have to check my maps but I think it is in the Snoqualmie National Forest. I am thinking this is a fine idea as long as it is only raining or sleeting so it will be worth the ride for me. The roads around Quilcene are really dicey if it is well below freezing and/or snowing.
The reason I didn't mind the hailstorms and occasional blizzards at NCBS in 2011 and 2010 is because rain and sleet is SOP around here. All those Californians are pansies (yes, I am a native Californian). Can't wait for NCBS and seeing you and Karen again, Bruce, along with all my Californian friends.

Sorry for the obscurity Bruce. I also plan on attending the Nevada shoot this year.
