45 AUTO! Because having to shoot someone twice is just silly!
For that price that's a definite "HELL YA! ! ! !" assuming it doesn't look like the dog was chewing on it or it's chunky with rust and the action and bore is in good working order.
I would jump on it if in fair to good shape.

The Model 1892 action is a very strong action . They even sell that tifle in .454 .
