Results MP 10mm 200gr WFN PC version

Thought about starting a new thread, but thereís so much good stuff in this one thought better to keep it going.

I was following this rerun gb a couple of years ago but never committed back then. The night before it closed in January, I happened to spot it and jumped in as the last man, just hours before it closed!

Many thanks to Oreo for honchoing and Miha for another superb product.

I went for the 200 gr. without lube grooves for PC. It looks like there were only three of these ordered. With the mix I used for the initial trial, went really soft, probably 80/20 with a little tin. The shallow hp is running 207.5 gr. coated and the solid 212 gr. coated with this mix. After coating I ran them through a .401 Lee sizer which they just kissed. There was no deep hp on this buy which is fine with me. I used Smokeís Super Glossy Clear using the DT procedure on the MP-Molds website, with which I got great results. Donít think Iíll ever ESPC again! This is the first MP mold I have gotten that has dedicated flat point pins. Really like that. I found that 700 degrees was the sweet spot for fill out. I donít hunt, probably just use for range and defense. I figure this combo should take care of just about anything that needs to be shot. Iíll be ladder testing hopefully next week and post results from G20 and possibly S&W 1006.

I got a 190 gr. mold from the last re-run and cast up some solids. I sized them to .401 on a Star sizer and lubed them with Ben's Red. My starting load was 3.8 gr. of HP-38 and loaded 20 rounds in .1 gr increments up to 4.3 gr. I shot 10 "warm up" shots then a 10 shot group with a S&W 4006 from about 8 yards. Pictures of groups are below.

    3.8 gr

    4.0 gr

    4.1 gr

    4.2 gr
