    Open lyman sizing die to 432?

    Seems as if I remember a source mentioned on this forum that will open my Lyman 430 size die to 432. Yup...CRS

    ..............Might have been me, but I no longer hone existing dies to larger sizes. I make only new ones. PM e if interested. You can open your own die if you care to.

    If you have access to diamond paste the job will be quicker as carbide breaks down in use becoming finer and finer. Diamond simply continues to cut, and as the dies are hardened, using carbide may take a bit longer then you'd like to spend on the job.

    you can also use a split dowel wrapped with wet dry sand paper. chuck it up in an electric drill. Go slow and measure often. It only takes about 30 minutes. I opened up my .430 to .432 and my .410 to .4115 this way. Worked well
