    old T/C Maxi Lube 7305

    says New Improved MAXI LUBE for Maxi-Balls .
    Any one Know anything about it ? Yellow with a gray green cast color.Smells like old axal grease did a heat test on it does not Melt or burn easy ,will stay in a lump using a lighter . (could not find anything on internet not even a photo)

    I used Crisco for years without issue and preferred it to TCs offerings. These days I've been using mink oil from Track of The Wolf, but there are lots of other good products.

    This 7305 Maxi Lube is Very Old and I agree T/C Bore butter to thin do not like it on Conicals

    Crisco is thin, but it worked. A stiffer mixture of beeswax and vegetable oil/shortening or some sort of animal fat/grease will work.

    Years ago there was a problem with one of TC's lubes. It would freeze and the patch or maxi would be stuck inside the barrel. There were reports of barrels bursting because of it, so I do not recommend water based lubes in cold weather.
