    Savage Edge/model 12 Question

I was wondering if anybody could help.

I aim looking at buy a Model 12 Savage to convert to BT's 40-308.

I can get my hands on a Savage Edge so the question is, is the Edge a model 12?

No one makes stocks for the edge or axis. Go with the 10,110,12 models.

The edge and the axis are junk. They are along the lines of a rem 710 or 770 made as cheap as possible. They aren't half the rifle a 110 or 10 is.
